Show Objective:

The Carolina Artists guild is attempting to provide a venue for exhibition and sales of artwork by the disabled population of our community and to provide an opportunity for the community to enjoy the artistic contributions of our disabled citizens. This is the first art show of its kind in our area, and will provide a valuable public service to citizens who are normally overlooked as artists. Participation will be facilitated through cooperation with numerous programs and organizations already in place in Rowan County. Our goal is participation rather than perfection, and celebration rather than competition. Based on the success of this premier show, we plan to make the Handicapable Art Expo an annual event.
