Colleen Walton is a retired mathematics teacher who resides in Salisbury, North Carolina, and who began painting seriously about five years ago. Although she has done some work in acrylics, she primarily paints with watercolors. Colleen has won several awards for her paintings at the Silver Arts Show in Rowan County and has had her work shown statewide as a result. More of her work can be seen at the Art Station in Spencer, North Carolina, as well as in private collections throughout the state. In addition to being a member of the Carolina Artists, Colleen is a member of a small local group of artists called The Art Gang.
