Doris Trexler lives in Salisbury and has been seriously painting for the past ten years. Her preferred medium is acrylic but has also painted with oils and watercolors. Doris has been actively involved with Carolina Artists for the past four years. She is an active member of a local art group, called The Art Gang. She has received awards in the Senior Games, at both the local and state level. Doris has won awards in the local Carolina Artists Expo. She has attended numerous art conferences and workshops, most recently the Kanuga Watermedia Workshop in Hendersonville, NC. Her art has been featured in the Salisbury Post and in numerous art shows. Currently, her art is on display at the Art Station, Spencer.
