Nancy Rogers was born in Salisbury, NC and began her study of art as a child. She graduated from Duke University, and continued her art studies at the Art Students League in New York as well as graduate studies at Columbia University and New York University. Nancy has studied in Europe,and extensively in the United States under such masters as Edgar Whitney, Reginald Marsh, Frank Reilly, Frank Vincent Du Mond, Zolten Szabo, Phil Metzger, Robert E. Wood, Daniel Green, Alex Powers, Skip Lawrence, Naomi Brotherton, Al Stine, Janet Walsh, Ralph Smith, Tony Couch, Charles Reid and others.

She is a life member of the Arts Student League, a Charter Member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, a member of Washington, DC Watercolor Society, North Carolina Watercolor Society, Southern Watercolor Society Associate, American Watercolor Society Associate and Associate of National Watercolor Society. Nancy has been juried into numerous shows in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia and North Carolina. She has had one-woman shows in several states, winning many awards and her paintings are found in many private and corporate collections.
