Andy Mooney is a fourth generation creative artist. As the youngest member in the Carolina Artists, Mooney graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2002, with a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design.

He currently is a graphic designer for the Salisbury Post, where he has been employed since August 2000. Having won numerous press association awards in the areas of graphics and illustration, he produces daily visual content for the Post, including front page headers, informational graphics, illustrations and special section and TimeOut section covers.

Mooney has several artistic freelance endeavors, including co-owner of a web design business and co-owner of a photography business. He is an avid photographer and graphic designer, as well as working in pencil, pen and ink and computer generated art.
