Patt's Vision - I paint to connect with the viewer·to speak an unspoken word·to relate truth visible through the eyes of God.

Patt has been painting in watercolor and oil for over 30 years. Most recently, she studied with watercolorist, Dora Hagge, New York Portrait artist; Marvin Mattleson and apprenticed under artist David Weaver, studying the Old Master/Flemish Realism techniques in oil.

Patt considers herself a portrait artist first and her goal is to show the essence of who a person really is as seen through the eyes. When painting a landscape or still life, the same principle applies to show life in the most common of things. She recently relocated from West Virginia to Salisbury NC. Patt currently works in her home studio and expects to have a working studio and gallery at the new upcoming Rail Walk Studios and Gallery on Lee Street. She will be offering workshops locally and private instruction in her new studio.
