Kirk Johnson is retired and started painting as a hobby. encouraged by his wife and daughter. He prefers working in oils, painting landscapes and seascapes. After taking a few lessons from Patricia Miller, starting in April of 2007, to acquire some basics in technique and guidelines as to content, he has been gaining experience and confidence with each completed painting and looks forward for the inspiration to begin the next painting.
